On April 15, 2023, the Conference on the Dissemination of Classics and Confucianism along the Silk Road was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi province. 

Over 80 experts and scholars from more than ten universities and research institutes across the country attended the conference. Jia Deyong, secretary-general of the International Confucian Association, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

The conference was jointly organized by the International Confucian Association, Sichuan University, Ningxia University, and Shaanxi Normal University. The School of Philosophy of Shaanxi Normal University and the Institute of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Shaanxi Normal University hosted the conference, in cooperation with Xi'an International University.
