The second "Inheritance and Development of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture" training class for the central and western regions organized by the International Confucian Association (ICA) and the National Academy of Education Administration (NAEA) opened on June 26 at the NAEA's campus.
Yu Jianfu, ICA vice president, Shi Yongqi, ICA deputy secretary-general and director of the Education and Promotion Committee of the ICA, Cong Chunxia, director of the Party Building and Political Education and Research Department of the NAEA, and Shu Gang, deputy director of the Further Education Second Division of the NAEA, attended the opening ceremony.
The ceremony was presided over by Wang Xinhong, deputy director of ICA’s Advisory Liaison Committee.
A total of 82 students from 19 provinces and municipalities participated in the training, which will be conducted in two phases in Beijing and Quzhou, Zhejiang province. The students expressed their commitment to implementing the knowledge gained and making significant contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
After the ceremony, Yu led some of the students to visit the campus, which focuses on the inheritance of Confucian culture and the continuation of historical context.
