The fourth session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) concluded in Beijing on November 2. 

The meeting focused on "strengthening ecological environmental protection and promoting the construction of a beautiful China".

After the closing ceremony, Wang Xuedian, a member of the CPPCC National Committee and vice president of the International Confucian Association, gave a lecture entitled "Preserving the 'Roots' and 'Soul' of the Chinese Nation to Build its Modern Civilization”.
