The award ceremony for the 2024 Third "Baita Cup" Cultural and Creative Competition was held in December at the Small Theater of the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center. The event brought together Zhang Xiaojia, Standing Committee Member of the Xicheng District Party Committee and Minister of Publicity, along with leaders from various sectors, cultural experts, industry professionals, media representatives, and over 100 contestants. During the event, next edition, the 2025 Fourth "Baita Cup" Cultural and Creative Competition, was officially launched.

The ceremony had an innovative mix of traditional Chinese elements and cutting-edge technology. Winners from six categories were announced, including the Cultural and Creative Project Track and the Product Development Track. First prizes went to standout entries like the "Chinese Peking Opera" IP cultural creative series and "Little Deities on the Central Axis". In total, 70 Excellence Awards and several individual prizes were presented, honoring participants for their creativity and dedication.

This year's competition set a new benchmark, attracting 4,211 entries from 28 regions, making it the largest in the event's history. By leveraging Xicheng District's deep cultural resources, the competition has played a vital role in promoting the cultural industry's high-quality development. Over 100 media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency and People's Daily, covered the event extensively, while online engagement reached record levels, amplifying its influence across platforms.

The ceremony also featured performances of winning works, offering attendees a glimpse into the creativity and passion of the participants. Additionally, a launch video for the 2025 competition, created using AIGC (Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content) technology, showcased Xicheng's cultural identity in a fresh, innovative way.

Looking ahead, the "Baita Cup" aims to deepen the integration of cultural creativity with technology, tourism, and education. The competition will continue to promote the modernization of traditional Chinese culture, enabling it to resonate with audiences worldwide and inspire future generations of creators.
